This booklet was first published as the “Industrial Number” of “The Wilkeson Record” in December of 1917. Many of the businesses of Wilkeson, Carbonado, Fairfax, and South Prairie are described in great detail, along with the Mines in the area. This book describes and explains the mining industry very well for those of us who came along well over half a century later.
